How does Morpheus8 work?
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive fractional skin treatment that combines microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy.
Morpheus 8, also known as a collagen-induction treatment, uses 24 microneedles and RF energy to renew the skin and encourage the natural anti-ageing process.
The surface of the face and body is penetrated with 24 coated pins, omitting radiofrequency energy that reaches deep into the skin and fat. This procedure then morphs the ageing of the face and body into a sleeker, smooth appearance. The Morpheus8 is the only device to mould the fat below the skin to morph facial features into a more youthful appearance.
What is the downtime for Morpheus8 treatment?
After treatment there’s a 48 hour to 1 week downtime, however as with any aesthetic treatment, the recovery time is dependent on the client's skin sensitivity and area of the treatment. The expected downtime also is dependent on the client's general standard of health and wellbeing.
Immediatley after the treatment you may notice some potential redness and tiny pinprick bruising.
We recommend you avoid touching your treatment area to avoid irritating the skin and to prevent infection we also suggest being make-up free on that area for 24 hours.

How long do Morpheus8 results last?
Initial results can be seen as soon as a few days after your treatment, however as your body takes time to produce new collagen the tightening and smoothing results will become more visible over 3-4 weeks.
Improvements then continue for 2-3 months until the final result is achieved.
Morpheus8 results can last up to 12 – 18 months. The maintenance of these results will depend on lifestyle factors such as sun exposure and smoking. It may be advisable for clients to have an annual follow up treatment to maintain and keep encouraging collagen production.
Depending on the results you wish to achieve from your Morpheus8 treatment journey, our expert technicians will suggest if any maintenance sessions will be required after the three month period to maintain your skin tightening results long term.
Is the Morpheus8 treatment painful?
The Morpheus8 treatment involves microneedles penetrating the skin very quickly, so the treatment can feel a little uncomfortable. Numbing cream or local anaesthetic can be provided if necessary.
